Rodrigo Provazi Mesquita is a filmmaker from Guarulhos, São Paulo. He holds a degree in Social Communication with a specialization in Cinema from FAAP-SP and has a specialization in Documentary from EICTV, Cuba. In 2013, he joined Perigo Filmes as a partner producer, mainly working in post-production and cinematography for commercials, documentary films, and fiction for various channels and agencies. Throughout his career, he has produced, filmed, and edited over 40 audiovisual works, including short films and feature-length fiction and documentary films. As a cinematographer, he has worked on several short films such as "Filho Pródigo" (2013), "Enquanto Sangue Coloria a Noite, eu Olhava as Estrelas" (2015), "Aqueles Anos em Dezembro" (2016), and "Capitão Brasil" (2017), directed by Felipe Poroger. These works have participated in major Latin American film festivals, including the Gramado Film Festival, É Tudo Verdade, Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, Mar del Plata International Film Festival, and Latinuy- Latin Film Festival. Alongside director Fábio Rodrigo, he photographed the film "Kairo" (2018), which participated in the 51st Brasília Film Festival and the 47th Gramado Film Festival. As a producer and cinematographer, he made his directorial debut with the feature film "Vai Guarulhos" (2017), alongside director Fabrício Gallinucci. The film participated in the Cinefoot Brazil festival, winning the silver medal, and was screened on Canal Brasil. Currently, he is dedicated to the completion of the documentary feature project "Artéria China," co-produced with Globo News, promoting the film at international festivals in the development and rough cut categories. He has participated in the IDFA Academy 2020 in the Netherlands and the 13th Festival Nuevas Miradas 2019 in Cuba.
